Here is a picture of what was the boat harbor in my hometown, Ocean Springs, MS. It has changed some since Katrina but so many of the boats are back looking good as ever. It is a good place to come and dream some of what life on a sailboat could be. We are a small town but have a lot of life and spunk. So many visitors come to view our artistry and are amazed at the beauty. They usually walk away thinking they wish they had come here before Katrina and saw what was.

Here is my first day for blogging about what is happening on the Gulf Coast today. Really for a weekday there is very little except that the sun is shining. I really wanted this blog to expound on how we are progressing after Katrina came thru. My town, Ocean Springs, did pretty good except for those living quite close to the water. Now compared to our neighbors, Biloxi and Gulfport, we are doing great for which I am thankful. I just returned from my trip so I haven't had a chance to see the latest progress but will do so in the next few days. Then I will post again with some pictures as well
